Recycled silk is a type of silk that is created by gathering silk fibers that are too short for traditional or spun silk production. These fibers are then spun into yarn. The resulting silk yarn is relatively thick compared to regular silk, giving it a textured and coarse feel, which provides a comfortable sensation akin to a towel.
